CTV News visits Mount Crom Armouries’ Workshop

CTV Edmonton news reporter Matt Woodman visits Mount Crom Armouries and meets The Twins (Gonzalo Franco & Berny Franco), Grey Dickson of Mount Crom Armouries, and The Winged Crusader (Alex Osborn) • CTV News Edmonton - February 6, 2026 • Journalist: Alex Antoneshyn

We were delighted to learn about CTV News Edmonton wanting to learn more about what we do, so they sent one of their reporters (Matt Woodman) to our workshop, located in the heart of Red Deer, Alberta, to have a peek inside their workshop and what happens behind the scenes of every armour pieces and medieval equipment being forged for the masses.

From there, CTV News reporter Matt Woodman met the us and the current workers of the shop that day, that being The Twins (Gonzalo & Bernardo Franco), The Winged Crusader (Alex Osborn), and Grey Dickson.

Matt (CTV News Reporter) was delighted to be “knighted” by The Winged Crusader (Alex Osborn) at their workshop.
