Who we are

Mount Crom Armouries is a custom blacksmith and armour-making studio based in Red Deer, Alberta, known for creating historically inspired, functional, and stylized armour and weaponry for a wide range of uses — from film, stage, and media productions to bespoke commissions for individuals, reenactors, and collectors.

At the heart of their work is a blend of traditional metalworking and creative artistry. The team — often referred to as the “Dwarf Twins” on social media — forges metal by hand, embracing the timeless craft of the armourer while infusing pieces with narrative and visual character. They produce custom suits of armour, pauldrons, gauntlets, helmets, blades, and other medieval and fantasy-themed gear, combining historical authenticity with imaginative design.

Our Story

Two brothers, inspired by stories of knights and legendary warriors, shared a fascination with armor and the heroes who wore it. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a challenge — to build their own. With simple tools and countless hours of trial and error, they began crafting piece after piece, learning as they went.
